1. Operator and purpose
The website www.dayfinite.com (“Dayfinite”) is operated by ZHANG Heng, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel) trading as Dayfinite, 1 rue Marcel Carné, 94340 Joinville-le-Pont, France, phone: +33 7 62 15 79 14 (full details in the Legal notice).
These terms govern your use of the website and your purchase of the full report. By buying the report, you confirm that you have read and accept them.
2. The service
Dayfinite offers a free questionnaire and preview and, for a one-time payment, a full report: a statistical estimate of life expectancy based on population and epidemiological data and on your answers, intended for personal reflection.
Dayfinite is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis or advice. The estimate cannot predict how long any individual will actually live. For any health question, consult a health professional.
3. Conditions of use
- The service is only for people aged 18 or over.
- Answer the questionnaire for yourself and in good faith; the estimate depends on the accuracy of your answers.
- The report is for personal, non-commercial use.
- You must not disrupt the website, access it through abusive automated means or try to bypass payment.
4. Price and payment
- The full report is sold for a one-time price. The base price depends on the region detected during your visit: CNY 4.99, EUR 1.99 or USD 2.99.
- Stripe Adaptive Pricing may show and charge this price in your local currency, using Stripe’s conversion rate. The final amount and currency are those shown on the Stripe Checkout page before you confirm.
- VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI): the price shown is the total price and no VAT is charged.
- Payment methods: card (including Apple Pay and Google Pay), Link, Alipay and WeChat Pay, depending on eligibility and currency as determined by Stripe.
- One-time purchase: no subscription and no later charges. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never have access to your full card details.
5. Ordering
After the questionnaire and preview, you click the purchase button and are taken to Stripe Checkout, where you check the amount and confirm payment. The contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed.
6. Delivery and access to the report
- The report is delivered immediately after the payment is verified, in the browser you used to pay. No account is needed.
- The report can only be viewed in that browser, for up to 24 hours.
- We recommend that you save or print it as soon as it opens. It cannot be restored on another device, after your browser data is cleared or after that period.
If you have trouble accessing it, contact us (see the Refund policy).
7. Right of withdrawal and refunds
You have 14 days from purchase to withdraw and receive a full refund, without giving a reason, even after viewing the report. We do not ask you to waive this right. The procedure and the model withdrawal form are in the Refund policy.
8. Guarantees and liability
We provide the service with care, but the estimate is uncertain by nature and is not guaranteed to be accurate or fit for any particular purpose. We are not responsible for decisions taken solely on the basis of the estimate.
You benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content (articles L224-25-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code), set out in the box below. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Legal guarantee of conformity
(Translation for information only of the official French model annexed to article D211-3 of the French Consumer Code. The French version on the French page is the official text.)
The consumer has two years from the supply of the digital content or digital service to obtain the application of the legal guarantee of conformity if a lack of conformity appears. For one year from the date of supply, the consumer only needs to prove that the lack of conformity exists, not when it appeared.
The legal guarantee of conformity includes the obligation to supply all updates needed to keep the digital content or digital service in conformity.
The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the digital content or digital service brought into conformity without undue delay after the request, free of charge and without major inconvenience to the consumer.
The consumer may obtain a price reduction while keeping the digital content or digital service, or may end the contract and obtain a full refund in exchange for giving up the digital content or digital service, if:
- 1. the professional refuses to bring the digital content or digital service into conformity;
- 2. bringing the digital content or digital service into conformity is unjustifiably delayed;
- 3. the digital content or digital service cannot be brought into conformity without costs imposed on the consumer;
- 4. bringing the digital content or digital service into conformity causes major inconvenience to the consumer;
- 5. the lack of conformity of the digital content or digital service persists despite the professional’s unsuccessful attempt to bring it into conformity.
The consumer is also entitled to a price reduction or to termination of the contract when the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or termination. The consumer is then not required to request that the digital content or digital service be brought into conformity first.
Where the lack of conformity is minor, the consumer is entitled to cancel the contract only if the contract does not provide for payment of a price.
Any period during which the digital content or digital service is unavailable while it is being brought back into conformity suspends the remaining guarantee period until the digital content or digital service is supplied in conformity again.
The rights mentioned above result from articles L. 224-25-1 to L. 224-25-31 of the French Consumer Code.
A professional who obstructs in bad faith the application of the legal guarantee of conformity is liable to a civil fine of up to 300,000 euros, which may be increased to up to 10% of average annual turnover (article L. 242-18-1 of the French Consumer Code).
In addition, the consumer benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for two years from the discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the digital content or digital service is kept, or to a full refund in exchange for giving up the digital content or digital service.
9. Intellectual property
The website, its texts, design and estimation model are protected. You may save, print and share your own report and share card for personal purposes.
10. Personal data
How we process your data is described in the Privacy policy.
11. Customer service and mediation
For any question or complaint: bonjour.support@gmail.com.
If your written complaint has not been resolved, you may refer it free of charge to a consumer mediator (currently being appointed).
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. This choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence. Disputes are handled by the courts that have jurisdiction under the applicable rules.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The version in force on the date of your purchase applies.
